AbstractAn error was detected in the code of one of the components considered to model the optical/UV emission of the Galactic ULX pulsar Swift J0243.6+6124 during its 2017 giant outburst. This led to an overestimation of the contribution from the X-ray heated surface of the Be star. The addition of the X-ray irradiation of a misaligned Be disk to our model is proposed to explain the observations. Preliminary results of the updated model provide good fit to the data.
